Hakon (Aksel Ejnar) Børresen was born in Copenaghen on the second June 1876, the same year of the composers Akimenko, Alpaerts, Brian, Broqua, Delune, Falla (y Matheu), Gnecchi, Koeberg, Laparra, Morawski-Dabrowa, Nielsen, Polignac, Poueigh, Ruggles, Sabrá. He died in Copenaghen on the 6th October 1954
