The musician Alfonso Broqua, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Montevideo on the 11th September 1876, the same year of the composers Akimenko, Alpaerts, Brian, Børresen, Delune, Falla (y Matheu), Gnecchi, Koeberg, Laparra, Morawski-Dabrowa, Nielsen, Polignac, Poueigh, Ruggles, Sabrá.
