The composer Ignaz Brüll, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Prostejov on the 7th November 1846, the same year of the composers Alferaki, Cahen, Chueca, Coquard, Denza, Drigo, Erkel, Gomes de Araújo, Hallén, Jarecki, Kleinmichel, Lenormand, Noskowski, Ponce de León, Pratt, Serpette, Soloviev, Tyrrell, Valverde.
