The composer (Martin-)Pierre Dalvimare (d'Alvimare), who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Dreux on the 18th September 1772, the same year of the composers Bierey, Destouches, Grétry, Lemoyne, Lipavský, Liverati, Mosca, Mosel, Puccini, Rigel, Triebensee. He died in Parigi on the 13rd June 1839
