The composer Josef (Joseph) Lipavský (Lipawsky), who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Vysoké Mýto on the 22nd February 1772, the same year of the composers Bierey, Dalvimare, Destouches, Grétry, Lemoyne, Liverati, Mosca, Mosel, Puccini, Rigel, Triebensee. Died in Vienna on the 7th Jenuary 1810
