The musician Gilbert(-Louis) Duprez, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Parigi on the 6th December 1806, the same year of the composers Arriaga y Balzola, Gordigiani, Kittl, Marxsen, Schuberth, Scutta. He died in Parigi on the 23th September 1896
