The musician Jan Bedrich (Johann Friedrich) Kittl, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Orlik nad Vltavou on the 8th May 1806, the same year of the composers Arriaga y Balzola, Duprez, Gordigiani, Marxsen, Schuberth, Scutta.
