The composer Antoine(-Aimable)-Élie (Amable) Elwart, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Parigi on the 18th November 1808, the same year of the composers Balfe, Clapisson, Costa, Crouch, Curci, Dietsch, Grisar, Hatton, Herrmann, Lucas, Ruolz-Montchal. Died in Parigi on the 14th October 1877
