(1808-1878)

The composer Gottfried Herrmann was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Sondershausen on the 15th May 1808, the same year of the composers Balfe, Clapisson, Costa, Crouch, Curci, Dietsch, Elwart, Grisar, Hatton, Lucas, Ruolz-Montchal. He died in Lübeck on the 6th June 1878
