László Erkel(1844-1896)The composer László Erkel, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Pest on the 9th April 1844, the same year of the composers Barrera Gómez, Cellier, Grammann, Grädener, Hertz, Kratzer, Kullak, Mathieu, Nieto, Paladilhe, Rauchenecker, Rimsky-Korsakov, Rüfer.
