The musician Tibor Harsányi was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Magyarkanizsa on the 27th June 1898, the same year of the composers Abramsky, Arundell, Bacarisse, Bacon, Cheslock, Claflin, Delannoy, Demuth, Eisler, Gershwin, Hamerik, Hába, James, Knipper, Krohn, Lazarus, Massarani, Mihalovici, Mulder, Plaza-Alfonzo, Rankl, Rubinstein, Ullmann.
