The musician Joseph (Pepi) Hellmesberger, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Vienna on the 9th April 1855, the same year of the composers Aggházy, Chausson, Edwards, Esposito, Hervey, Hummel, Kauffmann, Klicka, Mayer, Mendelssohn, Röntgen, Rückauf, Solomon, Valente. He died in Vienna on the 26th April 1907
