The composer Josef Klicka, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Klatovy on the 15th December 1855, the same year of the composers Aggházy, Chausson, Edwards, Esposito, Hellmesberger, Hervey, Hummel, Kauffmann, Mayer, Mendelssohn, Röntgen, Rückauf, Solomon, Valente. He died in Klatovy on the 28th March 1937
