The musician August Horn was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Freiberg on the first September 1825, the same year of the composers Bristow, Doppler, Gabriel, Gollmick, Gutiérrez (y) Espinosa, Hol, Loder, Lucantoni, Marpurg, Nibelle, Ortega del Villar, Oudrid y Segura, Ouseley, Reissmann, Rongé, Strauss.
