The musician August (Friedrich Wilhelm) Reissmann was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Frankenstein on the 14th November 1825, the same year of the composers Bristow, Doppler, Gabriel, Gollmick, Gutiérrez (y) Espinosa, Hol, Horn, Loder, Lucantoni, Marpurg, Nibelle, Ortega del Villar, Oudrid y Segura, Ouseley, Rongé, Strauss.
