Leslie (Douglas) Mann was born in Edmonton on the 13rd August 1923, the same year of the composers Babayev, Blumenfeld, Czyz, Haentjes, Klaus, Lesser, Ligeti, Lybbert, Newlin, Pozdro, Remenkov, Rorem, Taylor, Testi, Tolstoy, Trimble, Valek. Died in Balmoral (Man.) on the 7th December 1977
