Karl August Riccius

(1830-1893)

The composer Karl August Riccius was born in Bernstadt on the 26th July 1830, the same year of the composers Adelburg, Arcais, Bülow, Durand, Goldmark, Grandval, Heise, Hellmesberger, Hentschel, Kretschmer, Lassen, Leschetizky, Minchejmer, Métra, Serrao, Skuherský, Tolbecque. He died in Dresda on the 8th July 1893
