Mieczyslaw Soltys, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Lvov on the 7th February 1863, the same year of the composers Arbós, Baselt, Bax, Bordes, Brounoff, Campa, Clérice, Coronaro, Corri, Erlanger, Kaun, Lebrun, Leroux, Manrique de Lara (y Berry), Marschalk, Mascagni, Moór, Oosterzee, Parker, Pierné, Samuel-Holeman. He died in Lvov on the 12nd November 1929
