The musician Johann Franz Xaver Sterkel, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Würzburg on the third December 1750, the same year of the composers Amendola, Calegari, Hanke, Just, Kürzinger, Lanza, Lessel, Majer, Monti, Mortellari, Neubauer, Prati, Rosetti, Salieri, Schilson, Stabinger, Türk, Vancura.
