The musician Archibald Thompson Davison was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Boston on the 11th October 1883, the same year of the composers Allen, Bartels, Bastianelli, Bath, Bossi, Casella, Doelle, Hauer, Hernried, Hrimalý, Infante, Jacobi, Kalomiris, Kartsev, Klenau, Krein, Kunc, Lhotka, Lloyd, Luncani, Lévy, Mandic, Manén, Moonie, Perrachio, Pringsheim, Refice, Samuel, Santoliquido, Toselli.
