Manolis Kalomiris, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Izmir on the 26th December 1883, the same year of the composers Allen, Bartels, Bastianelli, Bath, Bossi, Casella, Davison, Doelle, Hauer, Hernried, Hrimalý, Infante, Jacobi, Kartsev, Klenau, Krein, Kunc, Lhotka, Lloyd, Luncani, Lévy, Mandic, Manén, Moonie, Perrachio, Pringsheim, Refice, Samuel, Santoliquido, Toselli. Died in Athinai on the third April 1962
