Reyngol'd (Reinhold) (Moritsevich) Glier (Glière) was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Kiev on the 11th Jenuary 1875, the same year of the composers Agostini, Alfano, Coleridge-Taylor, Courvoisier, Darzins, Eisler, Fano, Février, Horák, Huszka, Ketèlbey, Kreisler, Labey, Mariotte, Melartin, Montemezzi, Nouguès, Ollone, Pacchierotti, Panizza, Ravel, Riccitelli, Rootham, Rubens, Rôze, Scheinpflug, Shaw, Szulc, Tovey, Valverde Sanjuán. He died in Mosca on the 23th June 1956
