The composer Paul Scheinpflug, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Loschwitz on the 10th September 1875, the same year of the composers Agostini, Alfano, Coleridge-Taylor, Courvoisier, Darzins, Eisler, Fano, Février, Glier, Horák, Huszka, Ketèlbey, Kreisler, Labey, Mariotte, Melartin, Montemezzi, Nouguès, Ollone, Pacchierotti, Panizza, Ravel, Riccitelli, Rootham, Rubens, Rôze, Shaw, Szulc, Tovey, Valverde Sanjuán. Died in Memel on the 11th March 1937
