Michio (Nakasuga Kengyo) Miyagi (Wakabe), who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Kobe on the 7th April 1894, the same year of the composers Avshalomov, Baranovic, Bennett, Borkovec, Capuana, Dessau, Dragoi, Granados y Campiña, Grosz, Heller, Kanitz, La Violette, Laquai, Lazar, Molina, Pijper, Polovinkin, Schulhoff, Siohan. Died in Kariya on the 25th June 1956
