The musician Leonid (Alexeyevich) Polovinkin was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Kurgan on the 13rd August 1894, the same year of the composers Avshalomov, Baranovic, Bennett, Borkovec, Capuana, Dessau, Dragoi, Granados y Campiña, Grosz, Heller, Kanitz, La Violette, Laquai, Lazar, Miyagi, Molina, Pijper, Schulhoff, Siohan.
