Johann Gottfried Vierling was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Metzels on the 25th Jenuary 1750, the same year of the composers Amendola, Calegari, Hanke, Just, Kürzinger, Lanza, Lessel, Majer, Monti, Mortellari, Neubauer, Prati, Rosetti, Salieri, Schilson, Stabinger, Sterkel, Türk, Vancura. He died in Schmalkalden on the 22nd November 1813
