Knudåge Riisager, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Port Kunda on the 6th March 1897, the same year of the composers Ascone, Barth, Bentzon, Bravnicar, Cowell, Fernström, Gerster, Golishev, Heward, Kerr, Korngold, Kósa, Lillen, Lorenzo Fernândez, Maganini, Mignone, Moeschinger, Salmon, Sorozabal (Marialcurrena), Stringfield, Sutherland, Tansman. He died in Copenaghen on the 26th December 1974
