Karel (Karl) Salmon (Salomon) was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Heidelberg on the 13rd November 1897, the same year of the composers Ascone, Barth, Bentzon, Bravnicar, Cowell, Fernström, Gerster, Golishev, Heward, Kerr, Korngold, Kósa, Lillen, Lorenzo Fernândez, Maganini, Mignone, Moeschinger, Riisager, Sorozabal (Marialcurrena), Stringfield, Sutherland, Tansman. Died in Beit Zayit (Jerusalem) on the 15th Jenuary 1974
